Steve Robinson, the new and interim CEO of Empower New Haven Inc., met with New Haven alderpersons last night and presented them with a comprehensive report of the organization's budget and expenditures. Some on the panel commented that it was the first time in 3 and a half years that they had understood EZ's finances. The group lauded Mr. Robinson's leadership, and concluded by unanimously voting to recommend approval of renewing the organization's MOU with the City. This document ensures the continued operation of this organization, which has received over $21 million in federal funding since its inception.
